Ten people from Hawker and Quorn were on site at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) last week.
The group were on site to learn more about how ANSTO safely manages radioactive waste and understand more about ANSTO’s workforce in this area.

Applications are now open for a Community Liaison Officer in Kimba, who will represent the Department and the National Radioactive Waste Management Facility Project. The successful applicant will be a local point of contact throughout Phase 2 of the consultation process regarding the facility.
